Would you or your organization like to make a significant difference in the lives of men, women, families and children who are homeless and have nowhere else to go? HOPE Services Hawaii offers a variety of volunteer opportunities for both individuals and groups. We also have internships for college students interested in hands on training. In the first six months of 2011 alone, HOPE Services Hawaii was able to leverage $157, 095 in resources through volunteerism, to help operate and provide support programs and services.
From preparing meals at one of our shelters to providing clerical support, there are many ways volunteers have helped HOPE. For instance, our receptionist station at our administrative office is operated primarily by volunteers! We believe that everyone has unique skills that are valuable and we welcome the opportunity to match you with a project that will best utilize those skills.
